The Federal District in Brasília Thursday-Friday 16-17 April 2009
We made a much appreciated visit the previous years, so we are now planning to organize a third one.
Our objective is to create an opportunity for our members to know more about the Federal District and its mysterious institutions.
Chamber members have shown an interest in discussing economic/financial matters and infrastructure (PAC) in Congress, and also to visit the Supreme Court (STF). To that end we, are organizing to meet with the Committee of Economic Affairs and the Committee of Infrastructure in the Senate, and pay a visit to the Supreme Court. The Swedish Embassy will also kindly receive us.
The idea is to leave Sao Paulo early on Thursday morning the 16th, and spend the whole day in Congress. Then in the morning of Friday the 17th we will visit the Supreme Court (STF).
In the evening of Thursday the 16th, we are invited to the Swedish Embassy.
We will return to São Paulo Friday afternoon of the 17th after the visit to the Supreme Court.
The Chamber will assist with hotel and flight reservations through the Member Company and also organize the transportation in Brasilia.
